The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye has called on the Christians in the country to pray for their Pastors as the year is coming to an end.
During the sermon of 2022 declarations titled “rehoboth”, the Spiritual Leader also prayed God to protect and provide for the people of Nigeria in order to ascertain victory.
His words: “As this year is coming to an end, please, pray for your pastors, they equally need your prayers.”
“God, send help from heaven to us o lord. Give us victory in the coming year. Open doors for your children, O God, Almighty in the New Year.
“Make a way for them where there have been no way. Help them lord, protect them from evil.
“You will give them favour with men, the ways will open to them and that whatever doors they knock, let the doors be open unto them.
“Let it be well with them, let them enter the New Year with joy and let them spend the New Year with joy.” He stated
Adeboye added that prayers are delayed because of God’s plan, so that people don’t go weary and astray in their endeavours.
“Occasionally the answer to your prayer is only delayed – Daniel 10:12-14. Prayers are delayed because God has His timetable.
“Occasionally God delays the answer because what He wants to give you is better than what you are asking for – Matthew 11:11. There are some prayers that are better if God doesn’t answer at all– 2 Kings 20:1-6 – 2Kings 21:1-16.” he said
