The League of Veteran Journalists, Ekiti State Chapter has congratulated the Governor of the state, Biodun Oyebanji on his victory at the just concluded June 20 gubernatorial election.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available by the Chairman of the League, Prince Kayode Oni.
The statement reads, “The League of Veteran Journalists in Ekiti State heartily congratulates His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his reelection for a consecutive second term in office as Governor of Ekiti State.
“The League describes the victory as historic and well-deserved, noting that Governor Oyebanji has made history as the first Governor of Ekiti State to secure back-to-back reelection. The organisation said the overwhelming support received at the polls reflects the confidence of the people in his leadership, performance, and commitment to the development of the state.
“In a statement issued by its Chairman, Prince Kayode Oni, the League expressed confidence that the Governor’s second term will consolidate the achievements already recorded by his administration and further extend development to communities across Ekiti State.
“The League also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and protection for Governor Oyebanji as he prepares to continue serving the people of Ekiti State with renewed dedication.
“We rejoice with His Excellency on this massive victory and wish him a successful, impactful, and peaceful second term in office”.
