Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose’s has expressed his displeasure over his brother’s appointment as chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) board, urging him to turn it down entirely.
Isaac made his position clear through a series of videos posted on his Instagram page, where he questioned both the intent behind the appointment and its appropriateness for someone of his brother’s standing.
His words,”They said they gave my brother a DG appointment, not an ambassador or even a minister. They gave him chairman of a committee. Even Reno Omikri, they gave him ambassador.
“Because Obi came to visit me, they decided that they must enter that family. My brother told me that whenever he left the government house, he would not be a minister or senator; that he would go face his business, and he is doing well for himself.
“He has been a billionaire since I was a baby, so they now gave my brother DG because Obi came to visit me. This appointment they gave you so they can counter us. Why didn’t they give you the appointment? Why did they wait till when Obi came to visit me. My brother think, ordinary Omokri that was never a governor, is now an Ambassador.
“You are too big for that appointment; you better give your son. APC, you know how to disrespect my brother; even Wike, that you trained, is a minister. Wike was a PA to someone when you were a governor. This is very disrespectful; reject it”.
