Ekiti United head coach, Kehinde Anjorin has confidently said that his team has chances of winning their Nigeria National League (NNL) matchday 1 encounter against Lagos-based club, Madiba FC on Tuesday.
The Ado-Ekiti based club has been drawn in the B3 Southern Conference alongside Ikorodu City, FC Ebiedei and Abeokuta Stomers of Ogun state.
Anjorin, while speaking in a exclusive interview, said that he is very optimistic about his team chances of beating Madiba FC.
According to him, “We are in Lagos with the mindset of winning our first game of the season.
“Winning the first match speak’s volume towards positive achievement in the league.
“Yes, there’s no minnows in football any longer, but my team is well prepared and focused to battle Madiba.
“I watched some of their games in the NLO Super 8 last season and I know how to deal with their tactics.
“We equally beefed our team for the task ahead, but mind you, the coach that piloted the team (Madiba FC) to promotion is still with the club.”
Kehinde Anjorin will be expecting his lads to put up a good performance come Tuesday afternoon at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
