Ekiti State has been ranked the best destination for businesses and investments in the South-west region of Nigeria.
This is according to the latest Subnational Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Report in Nigeria, which is an initiative of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
The report provides empirical information on the business climate of states in Nigeria and serves as a reference resource for businesses and investors.
With a weighted score of 5.79, Ekiti State has outperformed Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo States across the six indicators of Infrastructure with a Secured and Stable Environment, Transparency and Accessibility of Information, Regulatory Environment, Skills and Labor, and Economic Opportunity.
As such, the report also serves as a call to local and foreign investors to consider investing in Ekiti State.
