One of the leading aspirants for the Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Gbenga Joseph, has stepped down for Bimbo Daramola popularly known as Congressman.
This was just after the political dynasty of Chief Alaba Abejide in Ikole Ekiti unanimously endorsed Hon. Bimbo Daramola for the Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency ahead of Saturday’s APC primary.
Chief Alaba Abejide is a prominent political figure in Ikole and the incumbent Chairman of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission.
Speaking during the endorsement, Abejide described Daramola as a formidable candidate who demonstrated capacity and diligence during his tenure 11 years ago.
He urged party leaders and delegates from Oye and Ikole to turn out and vote massively for Daramola in the primary.
