The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) Ekiti State Branch has extended a warm congratulatory message to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his historic re-election for a second term in office, a feat unprecedented in the state’s political history.

In a statement jointly signed by the Branch Chairman, MLS Lawal Tijani Tunde, and the Secretary, MLS Temiloluwa Oyebola, the Association commended the Governor for his transformative strides in the health sector, which they described as a benchmark worthy of emulation across the country.

The Association specifically applauded Governor Oyebanji’s interventions in the rehabilitation and upgrading of laboratories across primary, secondary, and tertiary health facilities in Ekiti State, noting that such investments have significantly improved diagnostic services and overall healthcare delivery.

While extending their felicitations to the Governor and his Deputy, Chief Mrs. Monisola Christianah Afuye, the AMLSN also used the opportunity to appeal for the urgent consideration of all outstanding professional agitations. According to the Association, these demands are not borne out of narrow interests but are fundamentally tied to the well-being and safety of the people of Ekiti State.

Reaffirming their commitment to the administration’s success, MLS Lawal Tijani Tunde pledged the unalloyed support of all medical laboratory personnel in the state, assuring the Governor of their readiness to partner with his government in achieving its developmental goals for the health sector and beyond.
