The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji has thrown his weight behind Senator Godswill Akpabio for Senate President in the soon- to- be – inaugurated 10th Assembly in Abuja on Monday.
He said this in Abuja on Monday via his Twitter handle following Senator Akpabio’s outstanding leadership qualities in the All Progressive Congress (APC).
“I received distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio and his team in Abuja last night.
“It was a pleasure hosting him and our Senators-elect from Ekiti State, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Yemi Adaramodu and Cyril Fasuyi.
“Senator Akpabio is a notable leader in our great party, All Progressives Congress(APC) and a top contender for the Senate Presidency in the soon- to- be – inaugurated 10th Assembly.
“It was an exciting evening of discussions around politics and national development, and I am excited about the bright future ahead for our nation.” the post reads.
