Some unknown individuals suspected to be terrorists have allegedly submitted letter of attack to the Ilupeju Catholic Church in Ilupeju, Ekiti State.
This came barely eight weeks after St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State was attacked by unknown gunmen on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
This has orchestrated fear among residents and made many churches in Ilupeju, Ayegbaju Ekiti and Oye Ekiti and other neighbouring Towns to record low numbers of Worshippers in Church today.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Soldiers have been deployed to Ilupeju Ekiti, and Oye Local Government to prevent any attack.
However, an attempt to contact the spokesperson for Ekiti State Police Command, Mr Sunday Abutu to confirm this incident is abortive, at the press time of filing this report.
