Following the accusation of President Muhammadu Buhari against some state Governors for diverting Local Government funds, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and 5 others have kicked against it to defend their innocence and modesty.
NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the President had said at different fora that local government administration in the country had been emasculated by governors, who he often accused of diverting allocations to them from the federation account.

Other five Governors who reacted are Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom; David Umahi of Ebonyi State; AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State; Solomon Lalong of Plateau State and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
