A 16-year-old Boy identified as Kevon Watkins in Georgia, United States has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his elder sister, Alexus Watkins over video games.

NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Kevon was trying to play video games on Xbox in his family home but the internet connection was too poor.

Kevin decided to change the Wi-Fi password in order to increase the speed of his internet connection so as to block anyone else from logging on and slowing down the service while he played his games.

His mother confronted him, but things escalated leading his older sister, Alexus to intervene.

Alexus stepped in to prevent Kevon from physically attacking their mother, but he subdued her in a chokehold instead.

Despite the pleas of his younger brother and his mother, Kevon refused to release her as held her until the police arrived.

Alexus suffered brain death because her brain had been deprived of oxygen for too long and she was rushed to the Hospital before she was pronounced dead.
