Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso has said that he trusts in his team and their ability to qualify for next round following the disappointing loss to Senegal.

The coach of the seven-time champions who lost 1-0 to Senegal in their opening Group B tie at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, insists they will recover to excel in the tournament being played against the host despite the setback.

According to him, “In the end, I trust the team and their ability to qualify for the next round, and that we will achieve our biggest goal, which is to reach the World Cup.

“We take advantage of tournaments like this in order to develop our level and work to fix our mistakes.”

The coach revealed that the next match will be very difficult, especially since it going to be against Egypt, the host country and even more difficult because their desire to win will increase following their draw against Mozambique.
