The Federal Polytechnic, Ado -Ekiti has emerged overall winner of the 21st Nigeria Polytechnic Games Association (NIPOGA) concluded at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State.
The institution had a total of 46 medals, comprising 23 Gold, 14 Silver and 9 Bronze.
It would be recalled that the first time Ado Ekiti lifted the NIPOGA first position was at the 15th NIPOGA game hosted at Ado-Ekiti in 2008.
However, the FPA Team Oladebeye had consistently been in top form since 2018, when the Institution came second at the 19th edition in Nasarawa and the overall winner of the 20th NIPOGA and 20th NIPOSSGA respectively, held at Ilorin in 2020 and Ogwashi-Uku in 2021.
Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu came second with 13 Gold, 22 Silver and 17 Bronze medals while The Polytechnic, Ibadan settled for third position with 10 Gold, One Silver and 11 Bronze medals.
