A 24-year-old final year student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Oluomachi Nwoko, has been delivered of quintuplets at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia.
According to report, Nwoko, gave birth to three girls and two boys on Tuesday. Both mother and children are in good health condition.
It was also gathered that the female babies came out first and she is the first to give birth to Quintuplets in the facility in a long time.
Oluomachi’s mother, Mrs Priscilla Nwojo while expressing gratitude to God for the safe delivery said the babies and their mother are in sound health condition.
She also appealed for assistance of well-meaning Nigerians to support in nursing the babies. She called on wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Okezie Ikpeazu to come to the aid of the family.
