In the ongoing 8th National Youth Game, NYG at Asaba Delta State, Oluwaferanmi Dada from Ekiti was the surprise package as she won bronze, winning 7 out of 10 games at the event with plus 717 cumulative points in Asaba Delta State.
According to the medal standings released on Monday, Team Ekiti has so far won 3 medals from the game which made them occupy 22nd position on the table.
Two silver medals and a bronze for Team Ekiti.
Similarly, Team Edo has been impressive since beginning of the game as the heartbeat state maintained a steady progression to remain in the second position on the medals table.
Edo are second on the table with 10 Gold ,6 Silver and 13 Bronze medals according to the official release of medal table by the organizers of the Games on Monday 16,2024.
Delta leads with 22 Gold, 9 Silver and 14 Bronze Medals. Lagos are 3rd with 8 Gold,9 Silver and 14 Bronze medals.
