President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made a U-turn on the suits filed against his victory by Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, saying it’s an essential tool of rule of law.
Tinubu stated this during his Inaugural speech as the President of Nigeria.
He added that he shall continue to extend an olive branch to his opponents and be regarded as his friends.
According to him, “Some have taken their concern to court, seeking redress.
“I want to say today that it’s an essential tool of rule of law.
“They shall forever be my fellow compatriots and I will treat them as such.” He said
