Atalanta striker, Rasmus Hojlund has just joined Manchester United on a five-year deal from Atalanta.
The final package will be worth more than €70 million, including add-ons, with the agreement already sealed.
A five-year contract signed by the striker will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2028, with an option until 2029.
The player was also wanted by other clubs, especially PSG, but he only wanted Manchester United. It was his biggest dream, which is why he never gave the green light to other clubs during this summer.
The 20-year-old, who started his professional career in 2020 with Copenhagen, before joining Sturm Graz two years later, scored nine goals in 32 Serie A matches for Atalanta in the 2022–2023 season.
The signing brings to an end Erik ten Hag’s summer-long search for a top striker as a permanent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left to join Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in December 2022.
Hojlund has represented the Netherlands at all levels of international football and has scored six goals in as many appearances for the senior since his debut in 2022. His twin younger brothers, Emil and Oscar, are both footballers with his former club, Copenhagen.
