Lagos Socialite rescued from committing Suicide

A Lagos socialite of House of Phreeda, Farida Sobowale popularly known as King Phreedah, has been rescued from committing suicide after she attempted to jump into the lagoon at third mainland bridge, Lagos State.

NEWSTODAYNG gathered that the Farida, who is also a skincare vendor drove her Lexus SUV to the Third Mainland Bridge, came down and was about to jump into the Lagoon when a rescue party was initiated by people who were there at the time.

Videos online captured her a in black dress, weeping. She was also seen pleading to sit on the road as she kicked against being taken to the Police Station.

Farida is a beauty entrepreneur well known in Lagos circle. She made news two months ago when she held a talk-of-the-town wedding ceremony with her man, Demola, in Lagos.

Rumours have it that the marriage has hit the rock, after her husband packed out of the matrimonial home to meet a side chick he was daring before marriage, which has now largely affected Farida’s mental health.
