The newly elected Chairman, of The Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), Ekiti State, Correspondents Chapel, Comrade Raphael Ogbonnaiye has promised to project the good image of the Chapel under his administration.

Ogbonnaiye made this known during the election of Chapel Executives, following his reappointment as Chairman at the Press Centre in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

According to him, his leadership promises to serve better with the cooperation of other members in other to restore the dignity of journalism in the State.

“The essence of working in this State is to report good, bad and ugly event of the state. We will dish out positive news to the State. I promise that we will work together so that we will continue to project the good image of this chapel.

“Above all, I solicit for everyone’s cooperation to work together and dine together. It is not the speech that gives recipe to everything we want to do but the action that we continue to carryout after the election. I promise it will be positive for every member of the chapel. So help us God”, he said

The chapel also re-elected Treasurer of the body in person of Comr. Alo Abiola and Secretary of the chapel, Comr. Victor Akinkuolie respectively.

Concluding the event, the Chairman Nigerian union of journalist (NUJ), Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela, appreciated all members for their participation and urged them to move ahead void of all pitfalls while navigating through their tenure in office.
