The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has expressed shock over the passing on to glory of one of its leaders from the Information Chapel, Sunday Aribatise.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the Secretary, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi.
The statement condoled with the family of the deceased, his colleagues and every member of the information chapel where he served and retired.
It reads:”The leadership of Ekiti NUJ received the news of Aribatise’s death with heavy heart, we hope he is still much around to put his experience and expertise to support the Journalism profession.
“Comrade Aribatise was a very thoroughbred Journalists with high sense of humour, he was a man of the people due to his simple life style and heart of kindness.
“We can not question God, we only take solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life and we pray God to grant him eternal rest and give his immediate family and loved ones the fortitude to bear irreparable loss.”
