…as Commissioner tasks workers on loyalty, diligence
The Ekiti State government has reiterated its commitment with a view to reducing unemployment among the youths in the State.
Speaking while receiving representatives of the State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria in his office in Ado Ekiti, the State Commissioner for Employment and Wealth Creation, Kayode Fasae stressed that youth employment and Wealth creation is one of the
six pillars of Governor Biodun Oyebanji administration, adding that Government would provide enabling environment for development and job opportunities for youths that are ready to work.
He assured youths of the open door policy of the present administration in the State, adding that they only need to avail themselves and be part of the administration.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Oluwadare Ajayi who listed Government’s Youth interventions to include training programme in the areas of ICT, Agriculture, vocational skills, Sports, urged them to shun vices that are inimical to their future and support efforts of Government to secure their future.

Famuyibo expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for the warm
reception accorded them which he described as a display of commitment to Youth development.
Famuyibo said that the visit was part of collaborative mechanisms with the Ministry in the drive for youth development, adding that it was also an advocacy visit on the campaign against drug abuse.
He pledged the continued support of youths for efforts of the Biodun
Oyebanji administration to develop the State and improve the lot of
the people.
In a similar development, Honorable Fasae Kayode has called on the staff of the Ministry to be loyal and dedicated to their duties.
Fasae, who gave the charge during his maiden meeting with staff in his office, Ado Ekiti, said, it has become a must for all the staff to contribute positively towards the development of Ekiti state, stressing the need for everyone to think outside the box.
He reiterated the commitment of Governor Biodun Oyebanji led
administration to poverty reduction in the state as outline in the six
pillars of the administration.
“It is high time to work hard in order to train our youth on different
skills, so that we will not employ technician outside the state for
our services.” He said.
Fasae however said he will not condone acts of laziness and lateness to office, emphasizing the importance of punctuality.
