Nigerian award-winning singer, Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, finally breaks silence since the demise of his mother in August.

The singer, who had previously postponed his ‘More love less ego’ tour, from September to December, due to unforeseen circumstances, has cancelled his upcoming album tour.

Wizkid’s management has however taken to the social media to release a statement, stating that the album tour has been cancelled and fans, who booked for the show, will be refunded within 3-5 days.

The post reads, “Hi there, This event has been cancelled… The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the show on 14 October 2023 has been cancelled.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am cancelling my upcoming tour dates in Europe. I’m already working with my team and will be back soon.”

“We’ve already issued a refund for your booking – so you don’t need to do a thing. You’ll see a credit onto the method of payment you used within 3-5 days”.
