Canadian Rapper, Aubrey Drake Graham, has declared to take break from his music business in order to take care of his health.
The chart-topping performer announced his decision to walk away from the spotlight in an emotional statement after realizing the importance of taking care of his physical well-being.
Just a few hours after his new album, “For All The Dogs,” was released on Friday, Drake revealed this on his SiriusXM radio program, Table For One.
He insisted that the hiatus, which would run for at least a year, would allow him to focus on his health because he had been battling with stomach issues for years.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest.
“I need to focus on my health, first and foremost… Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.
“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer,” Drake said.
