The Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola known as DJ Cuppy has been honoured at the Best of Africa Award Show.

The Nigerian Producer and DJ ,who is also a philanthropist, took to her Instagram page to share her success, saying “Honoured to receive the ‘Philanthropic Endeavour Leadership Award’ thank you @BOA_Awards. Being African is truly my greatest superpower!,” she said.

DJ Cuppy, who is the daughter of the Nigerian Business tycoon, Femi Otedola, has a foundation with a reputation for philanthropy and generosity, particularly in uplifting Africans, empowering future African leaders with education, resources, and networks to make a significant impact on Africa and the world at large.

She has helped about 50,000 Nigerian students in education and recently donated £100,000 to the University of Oxford as a scholarship fund for Africans.

Hailing her home country, Nigeria, Cuppy proudly showed off her trophy, wearing a beautiful Yoruba traditional attire.

She expressed gratitude for the award and emphasized her African pride, which recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of individuals with African and Pan-African heritage.

While accepting her award, Cuppy added that “This award means so much to me because I am being honoured by my own people. I DJ around the world and do a lot of philanthropy but there is something that happens when we get together as Africans. I really believe that when we unite we create more than anyone can handle and that’s what I strive for at Cuppy Foundation.”
