Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made headlines by offering his perspective on the ongoing public feud between singers Samklef and Davido.
NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the feud erupted when Samklef, in what he thought was a congratulatory gesture, shared a video on Instagram featuring Davido and his wife, Chioma, leaving the hospital in Atlanta, USA, with their newly born twins. Davido, who had not officially announced the birth, responded by chastising Samklef for allegedly leaking the video and subsequently blocked him on social media.
This clash quickly escalated, with Samklef using his Instagram platform to call out Davido for allegedly failing to pay a N1 million debt to a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student named Mastermind, dating back to 2020.
Bobrisky, known for his outspoken nature and strong social media presence, took to his own Instagram page to share his thoughts on the situation. In his post, Bobrisky suggested that Samklef’s grievances were rooted in the fact that Davido had blocked him on Instagram.
He stated, “Sometimes silence isn’t the best answer to some low life. A few weeks ago, the same Samklef was hyping David, but as soon as he blocked you, war began. If you want him to unblock you, send elders to beg him; he will unblock you. But coming for him won’t move him. You are the one losing. As a producer, you failed completely, as a musician, you also failed completely, as a blogger, you failed. Even as an interviewer, you failed.”
Bobrisky’s comments added a new layer of intrigue to this already contentious dispute, drawing attention from fans and followers of the involved parties.
