The Management and Board of Directors of the Treasure Newspaper Nigeria Limited is set to honour the immediate past Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State council, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela as the “Best Performing NUJ Chairman in Ekiti State.”
The conferment of the award, in a statement signed by the secretary of the Award Committee, Falayi Olarewaju, is as a result of his “laudable contributions service amd contributions to the media industry”, within his 6-year reign as Chairman of the union.
As a recipient of distinguished Personality Award 2024, the statement noted that his “various contributions to the union as a whole and to individuals stands as a significant and outstanding fest that should be recognised, not only to document for posterity”
It also added that the award, was borne out of the recognition of his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the Nigeria Union of journalists (NUJ), in Ekiti State.
