One of the most widely used social media, X, formerly Twitter has banned the promotion of pornographic contents on the app globally.

This policy came following the massive promotion of sexual contents on the application worldwide.

The policy however allow the promoters to sell their sexual enhancement products with approval and without earning from the usual monthly revenues.

“Catalogue style dating and/or marriage brokerage services

“Advertisers promoting sexual merchandise must target 21+audience

“Japan

“Offline dating/matching services are permitted.

“Marriage consulting services and online dating/matching services are permitted with prior authorization from X.

“Advertisers must obtain a pre-approval by getting certified if interested in promoting such services.

“United States:

“Advertisers promoting sexual merchandise must target 21+audience.”
