BREAKING: Edo Police arrests Labour Party national Chairman, Julius Abure

The Nigerian Police have apprehended the national Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure in Benin, Edo City.

The circumstances surrounding his apprehension is unclear at the time of filing this report but it is widely believed to be related to the ongoing crisis within the party.

NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Abure has faced criticism after being accused of misappropriating Party funds totaling more than N3 Billion.
