Some suspected soldiers of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Saturday morning attacked and killed Police Officers in Garki Okigwe area of Imo State.

This was revealed on the X handle of the Public Relations Officer of the Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

The officers who were on a routine patrol were attacked by dynamite before some of them were neutralized by the suspects.

He wrote: “Our men attacked and killed by suspected IPOB members in Imo today. May their souls rest in peace. I wonder how someone would allege that we dont tackle security challenges in Nigeria.

“If not, how and how do we die? That’s the question. These men in Garki Okigwe, Imo State this morning, 23rd March, were on a routine patrol, and they were attacked. They used dynamite on them. It’s so sad. I hope we realise our mistakes on time.”
