The senate leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele has expressed the commitment of the National Assembly to work with the three tiers of government to ensure economic and democratic stability of the country.

Bamidele said this in Ado-Ekiti, while on an inspection tour of critical projects he initiated in Ekiti Central Senatorial District.

Projects inspected by the Senate leader in company with the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, includes hospital buildings, medical student’s hostels, library, road infrastructure, Mini-Stadium in Ekameta, among others.

Oyebanji, who commended the lawmaker, said the initiative was a sign of better days,  growth and development that would enhance  public infrastructures in all the communities in the state.

The inspection tour took the team to Ado-Ekiti, Aramoko, Eriyiyan, Ijero-Ekiti, Efon, among others.

Speaking at the tour of some projects in Ekiti State University, Governor Oyebanji stated that the continuous unity among the stakeholders in the National Assembly and their collaborative effort with the state government would impact on the socio-economic growth of the citizens in Ekiti.

In his words, “Senator  Bamidele stand as a symbol of hope and effective leadership and collaborative governance, paving  the way for a transformative development for other regions to emulate.

“Ekiti belongs to all of us.  If there’s any local government you  want to assist, assist them.  I will always support the university and see what we can do.  As a government, we are going to make a tremendous mark here”.

 Senator  Bamidele, lauded   the entire leadership of the alumni association of EKSU  under the watch of the Global President,  working very closely with government  and other stakeholders in the state to reposition the institution.
