Ado Central Council Boss, Toyin Ojo showers encomium

It was a moment of glitz and glamour as Ekiti Commissioner for Environment, Chief Tosin Aluko-Ajisafe on Sunday celebrated her 55th birthday.

Aluko-Ajisafe, who was the first female local government chairman in the state, is a grassroot politician whose influence can not be overemphasized in the political corridors.

Speaking with journalists, she appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his giant strides in the state, in making sure that Ekiti stays on the development map.

She said, “I feel so happy and so excited. First of all, I want to appreciate my Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the first lady of Ekiti state, Dr olayemi, the former governor of Ekiti State, Dr John Kayode Fayemi and Erelu Bisi Fayemi.

“The SSG, all Excos members, all political holders in Ekiti state and all the traditional rulers.

“I also want to appreciate Kabiyesi Ojaja, Ooni of Ife, he even sent his representative to celebrate with me.

“I bless the name of almighty God and I want to appreciate all my friends, familg friends who have contributed to my celebration today.”

Also speaking, the Chairman of Ado central local council development area, Engr Toyin Ojo described the commissioner as a kindhearted and grassroot politician, whose impact to the progress of the progressive party has earned her respect and support from stakeholders in the All Progressive Congress (APC).

“Erelu Tosin Aluko is a kind-hearted person and a grassroot politician. Without telling you, you can see how the gathering is, people all over the world gathered here to celebrate with her.

“Since she has been in APC, she has gathered support around people in the party. She is a grassroot politician and a mobiliser”

Other personalities who graced the occasion include First Lady of Ekiti state, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, Commissioner for Information, Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun, among others.
