News reaching NEWSTODAYNG says the viral video which captured some political appointees sworn in with god of iron happened in Ikere local government area of Ekiti state.
The Chairman of Ikere LG, Olu Egbejoda had on Thursday sworn in newly appointed Supervisors and Advisers of the Council in an event held at Conference Hall of the Chairman’s Office.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman Olu Adamolekun felicitated the newly sworn-in Supervisors and Advisers, urging them to see their appointment as a call to service.
However, the high point of the event was when the appointees took their oath of offices with the god of iron which has sparked reactions among Nigerians across the nation.
