Three soldiers have been feared dead as a result of the sit-at-home order declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) to celebrate Biafran heroes in Aba, Abia state.

This followed an attack by some gunmen at a military unit unit located at Obikabia junction, Ogbor Hill area.

According to reports, the gunmen stormed the military unit at about 6.45am and burnt the unit as well as a patrol van parked in the unit.

Some soldiers were alleged to have escaped the attack by the gunmen, but this could not be confirmed as at the press time of filing this report.

However, the Public Relations Officer, 14 Brigade, Ohafia, Lt. Innocent Omale, could not be reached as he neither respond to text message nor respond to his calls.
