The former Chief Executive Officer of Konga and current Boss of D.light, a leading residential solar energy company, Nick Imudia has reportedly committed suicide on Tuesday night by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.
Before the tragic incident, Imudia who hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was said to have made a call to his brother in the United States, and gave instructions on how to distribute his wealth in case anything happened to him.
He also reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, with an assurance of maximum attention.
Friends, family, and colleagues are in shock, struggling to understand why he took his own life.
However, there are speculations that his death was not unconnected to depression since his marriage ended.
He was previously married to the mother of his daughter, who was also from the same local government area, but their marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.
