Nigerian comedian, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu popularly known as Sabinus recently shared his gratitude towards superstar Burna Boy for an unforgettable opportunity that significantly boosted his career.

In an emotional recount, Sabinus detailed his experience performing at the London Stadium, a moment he described as the “biggest 1-minute of my career.”

Burna Boy, known for his generosity and support of fellow artists, invited Sabinus to perform at his concert.

Initially, Sabinus thought it was a joke. “When Burna Boy called me to come perform at the London Stadium, I thought he was joking and I just laughed,” Sabinus admitted.

However, his skepticism turned into shock when Burna Boy called him two days before the show to pack his bags as a private jet was to pick him the following day.

Realizing the offer was genuine, Sabinus quickly prepared, ironing his favorite blue shirt and black trousers, and packing a few essentials. True to Burna Boy’s word, a private jet picked Sabinus up, marking his first experience flying privately.

Still speaking, sabinus added that upon arrival in London, he expected to perform at the after-party, but Burna Boy had a bigger surprise in store.

“Burna Boy told me that I was gonna open the stage for him,” Sabinus revealed.

Stepping out before a crowd of 80,000 people was a daunting experience. “I almost lost consciousness because I’ve never performed before such a huge audience,” he confessed.

Despite the overwhelming audience, Sabinus performance was a success, and he was handsomely compensated for his one-minute act with a $100,000 paycheck. Burna Boy also covered all his travel expenses, adding to the significance of the opportunity.

“Performing at the London stadium was the biggest 1-minute of my career!! Thanks, Burna Boy,” Sabinus expressed in his message of appreciation.

He emphasized how the experience has had a tremendous impact on his career and promised to always be grateful to Burna Boy.
