Bashorun Tope Alabi, the president of an indigenous group known as Ado Heritage has remarked that the state is fortunate to have Governor Biodun Oyebanji, at the helm of affairs of Ekiti.

Alabi stated this in a statement signed by the Secretary of the group, Akeem Bello, to commemorate the governor on the occasion of his second year in office.

He commended Governor Oyebanji for his visionary leadership and progressive strides, which have significantly transformed the socio-economic landscape of Ekiti State, particularly in the state capital, Ado-Ekiti.

Alabi lauded the governor for his inclusive governance, which has seen the appointment of several distinguished members of Ado Heritage into key positions in his administration.

He highlighted the governor’s commendable efforts in pivotal areas such as education, agriculture, workers’ welfare, security,  and peaceful coexistence among residents.

Alabi also singled out Oyebanji’s exceptional commitment to the welfare of senior citizens, particularly pensioners, whose service to the state has been long-standing.

The statement read in part, “This demonstrates the governor’s recognition of the competence and dedication of Ado-Ekiti indigenes and their commitment to the development of the state.

“Governor Oyebanji’s attention to the prompt payment of pensions and the welfare of retirees is highly commendable and speaks volumes of his compassion and dedication to those who have contributed to the growth of the state.

“His Excellency, BAO, has proven to be a leader of integrity and action. His administration’s commitment to bettering the lives of Ekiti people in these two years is a testament to his capacity and passion for progress”.

Bashorun Tope Alabi also expressed confidence that Governor Oyebanji’s administration would continue to promote unity, development, and prosperity in Ekiti State as it forges ahead with its vision for a brighter future.
