The former militant leader in the Niger Delta, Asari Dokubo has alleged that President Bola Tinubu stopped former President Olusegun Obasanjo, from assassinating him during his administration between 1999 and 2007.
The former Niger Delta militant leader, made the allegations on Arise TV, while crediting powerful allies, including President Bola Tinubu, to saving his life.
He expressed deep gratitude to Tinubu, stating, “Obasanjo would have killed me if not for people like Tinubu.”
He vowed to defend Tinubu’s government, while affirming to take full responsibility for any failures the current government might face.
