The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has started that the suspects charged to court for various offences over the recent nationwide protest are not minors.
This was revealed by the Public Relations Officer of the Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
He explained that only kids under the age of 7 are not liable under the law.
His words, “I don’t understand the use of the word minor. You can be charged to court once you are older than 7 years old.
“None of the children in court are less than 7, the youngest is 13. They were leveraged in the #EndBadGovernance protest”.
