The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate in the just concluded local government election in Ondo State, Johnson Ogunbolude has vowed to prioritize local farming, effectively manage allocated resources, and address youth unemployment.

Speaking with journalists, he said his vision is poised for a new dawn of prosperity and growths of Akure residents.

According to him, he will deliberate on the empowerment scheme to make positive impact in the lives of the good people of the state capital in order to eradicate unemployment.

On his part, the Kabiyesi of Ita-Ogbolu Kingdom, Oba Adebobajo Adewunmi, shared his expectations for the incoming chairman,  emphasizing on the need for him to follow the footsteps of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The traditional ruler also acknowledged the government’s wisdom in granting autonomy to local governments and direct allocation from the federal government.

He added, “We can only offer advice, but ultimately, it’s up to the chairman to leave a lasting legacy.

“We should all work together, play our roles, and expect the government to do theirs”.
