A lady has taken to social media to lament about her husband sleeping with their landlady.
“I’m so heartbroken right now. I’m heartbroken and I don’t know what to do. I took out landlady as an elder sister since we started living here and has been very nice to us. One year after we started living there, my husband started having financial issues so we have been paying rent late for three years now which I thought it’s because our landlady likes us.
She gives me advice on my marriage. I checked his phone because my mind told me he was cheating on me. It was our landlady he was telling I love you, I miss you, come home. He even goes upstairs in the middle of the night to see her. I confronted him and he said he’s just using her do I know that he hasn’t paid our rent in two years?
He said I should swallow anything that I see him doing because he is putting a roof over I and my children’s head.”
Reaching out to the Ceo, Danglife, Ife, she confided that she is feeling caged and wants to leave stating that she is a housewife as her husband told her to quit her job years ago to be able to take care of the children.
Ife, in a quest to help, asked her to tell her husband that she was willing to pay the rent and give an advance for another place, but the husband refused saying that he will sort it out himself.
She advised the lady to leave the house and get something to do for herself.
