Myriads of long queues characterised by fuel scarcity in fuel stations in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State Capital have reportedly disappeared.
This development has left Motorists and resistants of the State agog.
NEWSTODAYNG recalls that fuel scarcity hit Ado-Ekiti last week Wednesday, which led to long queues in many fuel stations, making it impossible for motorists and residents to purchase the Premium Spirit.
A fuel station attendant who craved anonymity, said the pump price has returned to normal as Fuel is now available for purchase in the state.
“There is now fuel in Ekiti unlike last week and the beginning of this week. We sell for #210 and people don’t need to queue to buy fuel anymore.”
A bikeman identified simply as Kunle also expressed his joy, stating that he no longer have to waste time in filling stations before getting fuel.
“I am glad the fuel scarcity has ended. As at last week, I spent so many hours in fuel stations and even result in buying from black markets at higher price but I thank God that we have now have fuel.” He said.
