The Ekiti State House of Assembly has elected Rt Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan, who represent Ikole constituency 1 as it’s new Speaker.
Hon. Aribisogan was elected at plenary on Tuesday to replace the late Rt Hon Funminyi Afuye, who died last month after a brief illness.
The new speaker won the keenly contested election defeating his opponent, Hon Olubunmi Adelugba with 15 to 10 valid votes cast.
