…as APC holds presidential rally in Yobe

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accused former President of Nigeria and elder statesman, Olusegun Obasanjo and his vice, Atiku Abubakar of using Nigeria’s money to buy cars for their girlfriends.
Tinubu said this on Tuesday at the APC Presidential rally held in Damaturu, Yobe State Capital.
The APC Presidential flag bearer also charged residents of the state and Nigerians to collect their PVC and vote for him and all APC aspirants vying for various positions into government in the 2023 general election noting confidence of the country’s tomorrow is what he was after as compared to the PDP’s 16years of argument and absent mindedness.
Tinubu who assured residents of the state that the economy of the nation will be revived to make them laugh again stated that the party will restore the lost glory of the State by turning it to an agro-allied processing centre and ensuring a strike free education system.
In his words: “Obasanjo and Atiku used Nigeria’s money to buy many cars for their girlfriends.
“We are going to repair our economy, you are going to laugh again. We will put an end to the strike, we will make sure your university of 4 years is 4 years.
“Nigeria is a great Nation in Africa. We are going to hand over to our children a banner without stain, we will give you all good jobs, hunger will go away.
“I want to assure you, don’t let them scare you, don’t let them lie to you about this government, I promise you I will govern fairly and progressively based on the name of our party.
“Vote for me, vote for APC, vote for APC Senator, President, House of Assembly, Governor’s.”
On his part, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari charged the people of the state to vote for Tinubu as he is the best candidate in the race.
“Our party APC has agreed that Tinubu is the right one for Nigeria, I urge you to vote for Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections.
“God has helped us to fight insecurity in the North and I believe we will fight it till the end and your children will return to school and you will return to your businessess.” He said.
