Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi said that he will challenge the victory of President-Elect Bola Tinubu in court.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared the All Progressives Congress candidate as the winner of the Presidential elections.

Obi made the disclosure at a press conference in Abuja where he faulted the process that characterized the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly elections.

He said: “They have asked me to go to court. I am obedient and will go to court. Nobody will ever put me under pressure when I challenge their illegalities, rascality and process. I am challenging a process that is faulty.”

Meanwhile, elder statesman, Tanko Yakasia urged all factions to accept the reality that Tinubu has emerged as winner of the poll noting that he has the experience to deliver.

“Election has taken place. We should all accept that fact as the reality of the situation in the country. Let us allow him as President-Elect to do what he has to do. He has all the experience. Let us allow him the opportunity to arrive at the state that is safe for everyone.”
