Following the conclusion of the 2023 presidential election and the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the president-elect, the three major political parties have engaged 89 Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SANs, to defend their clients at the election petition tribunal.
The president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paraded Chief Wole Olanipekun and other 49 SANs to defend his victory at the just concluded Presidential election before the Tribunal.
The Legal Team, which is led by Chief Wole Olanipekun include Prince Lukman Fagbemi, Chief Niyi Akintola, among others.
Similarly, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi also inaugurated a Legal Team led by Dr Livy Uzoukwu and 11 others to challenge Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC towards the victory of Tinubu.
Also, the Presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar paraded a team of Senior Advocates led by Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama to question the victory of the APC Presidential candidate at the poll.
