Ekiti State governor, Gov. Biodun Oyebanji has yesterday visited the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPC, Mele Kyari, in Abuja on Infrastructural Development in Ekiti.

The visit featured Oyebanji’s predecessors, His Excellency, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, first civilian Governor of Ekiti State and currently Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment and His Excellency, Dr Kayode Fayemi, immediate past Governor of Ekiti.

According to Oyebanji during the visit, “NNPC will be playing some significant roles in the infrastructure development of the state starting with the Ado-Ekiti – Akure road construction which is to be financed under the NNPC Tax Credit Scheme as announced by the Federal Government.

“Our people can’t wait for the commencement of work on this important road and we are grateful to our leaders for their roles in the successful listing of the road among roads to be fixed by the Federal Government”.
