Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has hailed President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that the country was on the brink of collapse before he assumed power.

In an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Abiodun commended Tinubu’s bold and audacious initiatives, highlighting the unprecedented steps taken by his administration.

According to Abiodun, Tinubu inherited a government that was “almost comatose” and credited the President with groundbreaking decisions, including the deregulation of the petroleum industry.

The governor urged Nigerians to be patient, expressing confidence that the Tinubu-led administration would effectively address the challenges facing the nation.

Governor Abiodun emphasized Tinubu’s financial acumen, citing his background as a former governor, senator, and accountant.

He assured the public that concerted efforts were underway to revitalize the economy, expressing optimism about the future under Tinubu’s leadership.

These statements followed recent remarks by Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, who characterized the state of the economy when Tinubu assumed office as a “dead economy.” Soludo asserted that the administration inherited a seemingly functional but irreparably damaged economy.
