A Dunamis Church member known as Rowland Haastrup has said a former pastor in the church, Abraham Daniel was sponsored by the enemies of the ministry to defame its general oversea, Pastor Paul Enenche.
Rowland posted this on his X handle to react to the recent interview where Daniel said all miracles in the church are fake.
He said that the hatred began when Daniel’s wife reported him to the church management for stealing fund which made him to leave the church and divorced her with five kids.
Read full post “On Sunday 13th October 2013, I decided not to go to church as I was very tired. But around 8:30am, I was restless & I couldn’t stay at home any longer, so I entered the bathroom, dressed up & started driving.
“I was driving without knowing where I was going to, & after over 30 mins of driving, I was at Area 1 round about, I saw a man’s picture on a billboard. At this point I never met this man nor knew him, & I felt a very strong urge to go to the church which I never knew before. I went in & it was the 3rd service, I didn’t know when I stayed till the end of the 6th service.
“I had never listened to such audacious & fireful preaching in my life. I sat there, glued to the seat with fire in my bones & in awe, wondering what kind of a man this was.
That man was Dr Paul Enenche @drpaulenenche.
“Ever since, I had been a Dunamis member. I joined a group in 2016 with my wife after I got married & got transferred to Lagos, called SEX MATTERS FOR CHRISTIAN COUPLES (SMFCC) – an interdenominational group.
“Abraham Daniel (a Dunamis pastor in Nyanya, Abuja) & his wife were members of the group, alongside almost 100 other couples. In the group we discussed everything sex, parenting, marital issues, etc. all in line with the bible.
“Then I somehow heard of a rift between Abraham Daniel & his wife; it was so intense that quite a good number of us heard about it & we somewhat felt there was a need to pray for them in our individual homes, & not make it a group matter.
“Then shortly after again, he left the group & we wondered why, his wife remained however; but as a member of Dunamis, I got wind of the information that he had left his wife with 5 children, & that despite our prayers, his marriage still scattered.
“Abraham Daniel was employed as a tape recorder with the Dunamis Commission 16 years ago. He went through the discipleship & maturity course in 2008, & as well went through the Dunamis School of Ministry later on
“He was to remain as a tape recorder or maybe something close as he was not a graduate; however, a new branch opened in Abuja in 2014 & seeing he had gone through the necessary training & he was seen to be dutiful and could communicate well in English, he was posted to the Nyanya branch to pastor the church
“He pastored the church from 2014-2018, but he was massively stealing the church offerings & the school he was tasked to manage at the time, which was a product of the church. His wife noticed he was diverting church money, & after much plea from his wife to stop, he didn’t, so his wife reported him to the church leadership.
“As a result the church recalled him to the HQ for some disciplinary actions while his salary still continued as a pastor. He was not pleased, then he submitted his resignation in July 2018.
“The senior pastor rejected the resignation because it was clear he was making a wrong decision for himself & his family as he had no capacity to take care of himself & family. He was asked to rethink his decision, but he began to act aggressively & rudely to everyone as he requested to be paid off.
“He left, however, Dr. Paul Enenche having pity on him & his family, assisted him to start business multiple times but they failed. He was sick & almost at the point of death on 2 occasions, the church still helped with his treatment & prayed for him.
“Shortly after, he divorced his wife, & Dr Paul Enenche took up the responsibility of taking care of his wife & children, ensuring that they are in school & taken care of. I personally believed this was what angered him as he wanted to see his wife suffer for reporting on him. I have it on good authority that Dr. Paul Enenche helped the wife clear a debt of over a million naira just very recently.
“Ever since then, Abraham Daniel had been attacking & smearing the image of Dr Paul Enenche & the church. Dozens of pastors had left Dunamis for years, all doing well in their ministries & endeavours but Abraham Daniel, unfortunately had chosen to kick off a smear campaign against Dr Paul Enenche.
“Abraham Daniel no longer believes there is a God; neither does he believe in marriage anymore. These and more had he publicly declared by himself.
What really happened to him, because trust me, the devil got him real bad.
“Now, upon seeing him being interviewed by a disciple of Abel Damina, I was not surprised he had to go as far as saying the healings & miracles are staged, as he had been clearly sponsored. I also wouldn’t have been surprised if he even said Dr Paul Enenche does rituals.
“Unfortunately, Dr Paul Enenche is way too busy with crusades, evangelistic outreaches & reaching out to the needy & less privileged, than to respond to people like Abraham Daniel or his sponsors who only attack Dr Paul Enenche to gain some cheap popularity. He doesn’t do such & he would never stoop so low.
“Truthfully, I feel pity for him right now as he has no relationship with God, no marriage, no job, & no life; but only paid by the highest bidder who is bent on attacking Dr. Paul Enenche”.
