The Spokesman for the Atiku Campaign Organization for the 2023 Presidential election, Daniel Bwala has faulted the newly appointed Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike for threatening to demolish houses in Abuja.
Bwala made this known via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Newstodayng recall that the FCT Minister had in a press conference stated that illegal structures mounted on government property in the Capital Territory will be demolished irrespective of its owners.
However, reacting to Wike’s threat, Bwala reminded him that the FCT is different from Port Harcourt, adding that he should not jeopardize the interest of President Tinubu.
He wrote, “Hello sir, in case you need refresher course; the basic needs of the residents of the FCT are; affordable healthcare facilities; access to good education facilities, clean sports and recreational centers, affordable transport services system, efficient and workable streetlight in the city Centre and the suburbs; and finally, security.
“You came with a bullish and vendetta spirit venting fire and brimstone about demolition and revocation of titles. Abuja is not Port Harcourt. If you create chaos in the city, you will jeopardize your principal’s interests and he will be forced to sacrifice your job. You will learn humility on the job”.
