AFCON ’23: S’Africans shed tears, say Nigeria uses ‘juju’ to claim victory

Following a slim victory on Bafana Bafana of South Africa by Super Eagles of Nigeria in thr ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, South Africans have alleged their opponent of using black magic to secure victory.

Recalled that South Africa held Nigeria to 1-1 draw throughout 120mins in the semi finals before Super Eagles won by 4-2 on penalties.

However, taking to X space to lament, south Africans cried, saying Nigeria did not deserve the win but won as a result of ‘juju’.

A South African fan already told his wife that he would ‘twerk’ throughout the night if his country loses the match but could not go home afterwards because he was not ready to ‘twerk’.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian social media influencer, Daniel Regha thrown his weight behind some of South Africans’ claims, saying they deserve the victory more than Nigeria as a result of the resilience and determination displayed by Bafana Bafana.

At the end of the match, the Super Eagles’ Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, popularly called ‘The Gifted Hand’ emerged the man of the match, as a result of his outstanding performance throughout the match.
